Education & Training

Dr. Oza is a founder of the profession of Speech Therapy and Audiology in India. He persuaded and worked hard to help start the first college of speech therapy at B.L.Y. Nair Hospital in Mumbai. He is an excellent therapist and has trained hundreds of speech therapists. He is a trustee of “Shruti”- a school for hearing impaired children at Vile Parle , Mumbai . Dr. Oza too believed that rehabilitation professionals always have to work as a team to help their patients live life with dignity. He supported the idea of starting POSAT in the year 1978.
