WordPress Developer Needed — Customize Houzez Theme for Real Estate Platform
We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented WordPress developer with a strong Houzez theme and WooCommerce skills to help us finalize our real estate marketplace.
We’ve made solid progress on the site, but need a developer to complete several key tasks based on specific internal requirements.
All work, communication, and payment will remain on Upwork.
Scope of Work
Menu & Navigation Customization
Remove all dummy/default dropdowns
Fix label issues (e.g., “Realtor” → “Agents”)
Clean up the menu structure:
Remove duplicate “Properties” links
Rename “Others” to “More Info”
Layout & UI Adjustments
Customize default pages (404, etc.) with our branding
Fix profile icon anchor issue
Change “For Sale” to “Find Opportunities”
Reorder homepage sections: move “Explore Market” above “Residential”
Style buttons and fonts consistently (“Add to Cart” → “Work Transaction”)
Property Page Enhancements
Display property videos directly under the address
Prevent property ID from overlapping images
Set map as default property view
Add credit payment info clearly on property pages
Let users choose to pay with credits before checkout
WooCommerce & Credit System
Sync wallet/credit balance between WooCommerce and Bubble
Adjust checkout flow to reflect credit usage
Forms & Submission
Edit or create dynamic form options for property submissions
Other
Help us determine if Google Earth or Zillow imagery is legally usable for listings
Requirements
Strong experience with WordPress, Houzez theme, and WooCommerce
Excellent HTML/CSS/JS front-end skills
Clean, responsive design implementation
Experience or collaboration ability with Bubble.io
Strong communication and attention to detail
Must follow clear task breakdowns and direction
